B sample confirms, Van Snick positive to cocaine!

Since the announcement of her positive control, Charline Van Snick, 23 years, denies having used any illicit substance.

The analysis of the B sample of Charline Van Snick confirmed that the Belgian judoka was positive to cocaine in the last world judo championships, according to information received by our journalist Guy Beauclercq.

The anti-doping laboratory in Montreal, which notified Van Snick early October of the presence of cocaine (a tiny rate: 276 nanograms per millilitre) in her urine collected on 26th August, have proceeded with the analisys of the second urine sample on November 19th in the presence of a neutral observer. Heavy consequences!

The sanctions have not yet been taken but the judoka will certainly loose her bronze medal gained at the World Championships in Rio. She also risks a suspension up to 2 years.
