Charline Van Snick caught using cocaine?

(SPORZA) - At a doping control during the World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Charline van Snick was accused for the use of cocaine. Van Snick is flabbergasted and doesn’t know anything.

Van Snick won a bronze medal in August at the World Championships and won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in 2012.
“This news really blew my mind, I’ve always been very careful. Never I missed a control and didn’t take any forbidden product to improve my performances.”

 

Van Snick, called by Belgian TV station RTBF reacted astonished: “I have received a message of the IJF that I had been tested positive. I really don’t get it” Van Snick reacted emotionally.

 

There are traces of cocaine. Van Snick is compiling a dossier to prove her innocence. We are waiting for a confirmation and more information about the control, as I have no more information.

 

Van Snick risks a suspension of at least two years as well losing her medals with all kinds of consequences.
