Stars will always shine !

The smoke has just left Rio de Janeiro of all fireworks we’ve seen of all athletes. Some may have left Rio but will remain in our memories.

Icons in our sport, that leaves us with their beautiful tribute to judo. Lucie Decosse retired after the World Championships and received a standing ovation for her career.

Andreas Toelzer added another consecutive world medal to his list of honour.

Ole Bischof is one of Germany’s judo icons of the century. The Olympic Champion of 2008 retired after the 2012 Olympic Games where he reached the final again. Ole is the perfect judo professional in the media who spread his message of Olympic Judo Takedowns. For him a tribute to his judo career , also Edith Bosch triple Olympic medalist retired. Keji Suzuki of Japan is also no longer near tatami as competitor, now he is included in Japan team as a coach.

Urska Zolnir (SLO) current Olympic Champion also became a coach, she won also bronze medal at the OG Athens 2004 where she was invited by "wildcard".

Also there was many other judoka's which ended their career.

Thank you guys for great judo !
