Alice Bellandi

Alice Bellandi

Alice Bellandi has developed into one of Italy’s leading judoka and a dominant force in the U78kg division. Her rise through the ranks has been steady and impressive, marked by success at every stage of her career.

As a cadet she already showed her potential by winning the EYOF title in 2015 in Tbilisi. In 2018 she captured both the Junior World title in Nassau and the Junior European crown in Sofia, confirming her status as one of the brightest prospects in women’s judo.

Her transition to senior level proved equally successful. Bellandi won European silver in Montpellier in 2023 and bronze in Sofia in 2022, before stepping onto the world podium. She claimed bronze at the 2023 World Championships in Doha, improved to silver in 2024 and reached the pinnacle in 2025 by becoming World Champion.

On the IJF World Tour she has collected major titles, including Grand Slam victories in Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi in 2023 and gold at the World Masters in 2022. She added silver at the 2025 Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi and triumphed at the 2026 Grand Slam in Paris.

Coached by Antonio Ciano, Bellandi combines power and tactical maturity, establishing herself as one of Italy’s key figures on the international stage.
